INDEKS

Korean bass music platform - documenting the scene. Filmed sessions, DJ mixes and event recaps, published across YouTube and SoundCloud.
A platform built from inside Korea's bass music scene.
INDEKS originally started as the YouTube channel for a bass music club called Mushroom, capturing full DJ sets, event recaps and interviews with prominent people in the scene. After the closure of the club the project rebranded to INDEKS. What started as recaps and filmed sets became a dedicated home for Korean bass music, run by people who are part of the scene.
Our mission goes beyond giving local DJs more exposure. INDEKS exists to showcase the diversity of Korean culture, its scenery and the character of its nightlife. Treating the setting as part of the story, not just a backdrop.
We film and publish full DJ sets, mixes, ID showcases, interviews and vlogs across YouTube and SoundCloud, shot on location in venues and places with real visual character.
INDEKS is also beginning to organize its own bass-music events in Seoul, and is open to collaboration. Promoters, venues, labels and artists can work with INDEKS: from full-set coverage of your event to releasing as a publishing partner, plus a growing database of Korean DJs. If you'd like to collaborate, get in touch.
